1. Operator and current availability
Jacob Mod Manager is operated by an individual seller based in Mainland China under the brand “Jacob Mod Manager.” Contact: support@macmodmanager.app.
The website is currently a pre-release product and compliance preview. Downloads and purchases are not open. Features, supported games and prices shown before checkout opens are planned information and may be corrected before launch.
2. Product scope
Jacob Mod Manager is a native macOS utility that analyzes, converts, organizes, deploys, backs up and restores user-supplied game modification files for compatible native macOS games. Customers purchase software functionality, game-specific compatibility modules, maintenance and support—not games or Mod content.
We do not sell, host or bundle game executables, official game assets, virtual currency or third-party Mods. Game and product names identify compatibility only. Users must obtain every game and Mod lawfully and remain responsible for complying with the relevant rights holder’s terms.
3. License and acceptable use
After a paid license is delivered, the purchaser receives a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for the purchased edition. One personal license may be active on one Mac at a time. The purchaser may move it to another Mac by deactivating the current device first; support can assist when the old device is no longer accessible. The Community Edition remains subject to its published feature limits.
First activation requires an internet connection. During the first 14 days after purchase, an active license may receive a signed offline entitlement valid for up to 7 days. After that period, an active license may receive an entitlement valid for up to 365 days. The app refreshes it silently when online and asks the user to reconnect only when a refresh is approaching. A refund or revocation takes effect at the next successful online check and, in all cases, no later than the current signed entitlement's expiry.
- Do not resell, share or publish a paid license key or bypass license controls.
- Do not distribute files you do not have the right to distribute, circumvent DRM, gain unauthorized access or interfere with online services.
- Do not misrepresent Jacob Mod Manager as affiliated with a game publisher, platform or Mod author.
4. User files, output and compatibility
Users retain their rights in files they supply. A generated package may still contain user-supplied or third-party material and remains subject to the rights and restrictions applying to that material. Users are responsible for reviewing backups, conflict warnings and deployment results.
No tool can guarantee compatibility with every third-party Mod. Paid priority support means a qualifying report is reviewed earlier; it does not guarantee that every Mod can be fixed or that a fix will be available by a particular date. Generated files are stored locally and cannot be remotely recalled after a refund.
5. Purchases, refunds and termination
When sales open, Paddle will act as Merchant of Record. Paddle may calculate taxes, present localized payment terms, issue receipts and provide buyer payment support. Final product, price, tax and consumer notices are shown at checkout.
At initial release, All Games Edition unlocks the Resident Evil 4 paid module immediately and includes entitlement to the four other game modules expressly listed on the pricing page when each is released. Those modules are still in development and have no guaranteed release dates. The website requires the buyer to acknowledge this staged delivery before checkout. If a listed module is permanently canceled, remedies remain subject to the Refund and Compatibility Resolution Policy and any mandatory consumer rights.
Refunds follow our Refund and Compatibility Resolution Policy, Paddle's refund process and any mandatory rights required by applicable law. Fraud, a reversed payment, chargeback, license sharing or a material breach may suspend or revoke the related license, subject to applicable law. An approved refund terminates future paid use, updates and paid priority support.
6. Disclaimers, changes and contact
To the extent permitted by law, pre-release information and the software do not promise that every third-party Mod, game update or configuration will work. Keep recoverable backups and review warnings before deployment. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded; where limitation is allowed, aggregate liability for a paid product will not exceed the amount paid for it.
We may update these terms as the product or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be dated here and will not retroactively remove mandatory rights. Questions: support@macmodmanager.app.
